Sad moment

I just wanted to share what I just witnessed, while I was going to university internship, I saw a guinea pig crushed by cars, in the middle of the street, and near the place there is a place that sells guinea pigs in terrible conditions. I think somehow he escaped, he had the same color pattern as my Momo, very sad to see this, although I have seen other dead animals on the track, it was the first time seeing a guinea pig.

I started crying when I saw this, it's very sad, especially when you raise the same type of animal and especially with the same color.

I felt like going to that store and buying a new pair of guinea pigs, to at least save two from suffering, because they feed extremely poorly and live in about 30 piggies in a very tiny space with wire cages above and below, but I don't have a new cage or any preparation for a new pair. Such a sad moment...

How sad. Unfortunately, there are always so many more piggies in distress that deserve a good life just as your own but we cannot save them all.

Buying neglected piggies sadly also only serves to encourage the breeders and sellers to produce more of the same.

I was thinking the same, they also give them to snakes in this town, 80% of the piggies go to them it is such a sad reality for such small beings, it is so sad...
