such sad news. Baby joy has sadly passed away:( thought something was not quite right yesterday when she came out to play, she was not moving much and seemed to be falling asleep standing up. I popped her back into her cage and she had gone this morning. My 2 children are devestated as am I.
Poor star. Alone again. Rip baby joy x

I am so sorry to hear she has passed away, she was beautiful. I hope you're all okay, sending big hugs to you all X

I Am very sorry for your loss!
RIP Baby Joy

Thanks all. She was only 10 weeks old:( poor star. Will she be ok on her own again for a little while? Xx

:( So sad that such a sweet soul has left us so soon. Popcorn free, Joy. :bye:

Oh no! That was sudden and very sad. And huge hugs to your lovely lad too, you can see by the look on his face that he adored little Joy. I really do feel for you both.

Will Star be OK? ........ Most of them are fine for the amount of time it takes to get another, but some do grieve quite 'heavily'. If Star is looking listless, or stops eating then you may need to go and get another piggy no matter where from, otherwise if she's getting on with life and eating and drinking she should manage......

Huge hugs to you, and to you little lad

I'm so sorry you & your family must be devasted. Hugs

Lilly had to go to the vet because she came with a respiratory infection we found out a week after we bought her. Luckily star and Lilly only had had a bit of floor time together and a sniff between bars. star was checked and she was ok. We were going on hols the day after Lilly's diagnosis and my friend was having the piggies and couldn't give her her mess (long story) so pets at home offered to have her back to give her her medication whilst we were away- and joy came to live with us in return. And then look what happened. I feel like an absolute rubbish piggie mum.

Ah ok, thank you for clarifying. Don't punish yourself, makes me wonder if there was an illness doing the rounds at Pets at Home and little Joy didn't show any symptoms. Keep an eye on Star for any laboured breathing, crusty eyes or snotty nose.

I'm so sorry you lost baby Joy. Hugs to you all. Popcorn free baby Joy xx
