betty passed away at 8am this morning she had a fit and then never woke up,i have just lost her little girl too so I'm now trying to keep her three babies going, I'm gutted :(
 
The whole family saw the vet yesterday morning and the vet could find no problems with any of them, except poor little Bumble who was very close to passing away. As she had been rejected by mum at birth there was probably a congenital condition that Betty could sense.

Emma has been in constant contact with me and has been doing everything I would have done to get this family through. Sadly the conditions that Betty had to endure at her previous home has had a devastating impact on her and her babies. All pregnancies and births have risks attached, sometimes those odds are just too great to overcome.

I know how hard you've tried to save these piggies.... you've done everything possible.

8... I'm so sorry I really thought Betty would be ok and poor Bumble, I'm so sorry to hear this sad news, I hope to god these other ones pull through after all you have been through, big hugs x

I'm very sorry for your loss, you really did everything you could, some things are just not meant to be x

I am so so sorry to hear this. I cannot believe poor Betty has passed away. I followed this right from when you got her and feel I knew Betty myself. You were a fantastic mother to her and you did all you could. You let her feel love for the first time and let her live with happiness. I know you must be feeling terrible. My thoughts are with you. I am so upset.
 
oh no, so sorry! Is there anyone close to you with a sow who's littered to foster the babies on?
 
Sorry to hear your news. :( There for the grace of god and all that. I treated my Lola no differently not knowing she was pregnant, she had the baby without any help and he's thriving, so much to the extent he's now living away from mum with an adult boar.
 
oh my gosh what a shock, i am so sorry sweetheart, rip betty thank god you knew some love in your life before you had to leave us.

I've only just seen this, so sorry to hear the awful news. You tried everything you could for her so don't be too harsh on yourself.

So sorry to hear your terrible news. :( This is just awful - you did your very best for her and she loved you too.
 
the last baby passed away in my hand before, i am so gutted they all took ages to go and each one passed away while having a cuddle,ive spent the whole day holding babies while the die its been aweful my daughter sang to them its just been a horrible horrible day they are all with betty now i just hope they know they were loved at the end :(
