Please do not feel sad @kiera as it is perfectly understandable.

If it helps, my piggies all begin with the letter E and I often call them by the wrong names. Ellen is often called Ellie, Erin or Ena and all three of them died some years back xx

My kids names start with totally different letters, an I still sometimes get them mixed up!
Don't feel sad about it Kiera - it is perfectly normal.

Totally normal. I announced the wrong piggy at the vets this morning. I call my piggies by their wrong names all the time. They don't care. As long as there's veggies in it for them they will answer to anything.

I also mix my kids names up - and they are a girl and a boy! It is perfectly normal and just your brain playing tricks.
I'm sorry you feel sad about it but honestly Prince won't mind at all

Aww you probably miss Jack. It does sound as if you and Prince are developing a lovely bond. I liked that pic of him wrapped in a blanket in one of your other threads.

It takes time to get used to new names... I still call my pigs Linney and Sundae all the time, and Linney has been gone for over 2 years now. I call Leela Linney all the time, I think the two 'L' names trip my brain up! Of course, I call my kids by each others' names and have even called the pigs by the kids' names and vice versa, so...

I too also get my two's name mixed up. They don't care, one of them answers to both names anyway as she has never been able to differentiate between the two. I'm sure it's just because you are used to saying jacks name, it's very hard losing a animal you love so much and i feel for you.
