Sadly, Gladys has gone to the Rainbow Bridge 😢

I imagine it will be a few weeks to arrange visits etc I am unsure how the process all works. I have been watching some of your videos on facebook... so sorry you lost Nosgan.. x

With bereaved piggies, the process tends to be quicker. ;)

Putting Gladys back with Pippin for the last time for me is very powerful and important.
People option and opinion doing this differs on all loss piggies.
I had a little girl die and her two mates stayed with her for hours until the sun came then I was allowed to take her.
You say you cryed oh my I fully expect you did and understand why.
Hope you ok and we hear for you and Pippin
Thank you @David Piggie Lover I felt it was the right thing to do... everyone's love and kind words on this forum are so comforting. The tears are still flowing but I take comfort in the happy life she lived with us x

Ah ok. Thank you. Had no idea really what to expect x

The RSPCA is generally very slow because of their strictly regulated procedures and their central processing of the paperwork, but private rescues and sanctuaries are a lot quicker. I have often been able to date a companion by the following weekend, and even sooner in an emergency as an approved repeat adopter. ;)

Just caught this thread.
I am so sorry about the lovely Gladys.
I truly feel for you as this happened to me last year with Keziah.
It comes out the blue and the world around you shatters.
Be kind and gentle with yourself as you grieve for Gladys.
Thank you ... it really is heart breaking x

I'm so sorry for your loss. She looks like a lovely little piggie and I can tell from your words that she was very much loved. ((HUGS)) to you.

Pippin made her first wheek since loosing Gladys this morning at break fast ā¤ it was lovely to hear her..... she has had lots of cuddles, a new hay ring thingy and we have moved the indoor run so when she comes out each night she can see us and we can see her a bit more... just making a few changes to try and keep all our spirits up...

So sorry for your loss. It is always so hard to make the decision to let them go, even though deep deep down you know it's the right one.
Sending you hugs and hope you find a new friend for Pippin soon.
Sleep tight little Gladys.xx
