Teenage Guinea Pig
Hi
So I grow my guinea pigs grass. I have just planted some more in some new compost. I have since thought I'm unsure if the compost is actually safe. It's john innes levington compost and it says it has 8 weeks feed in it which includes potassium, nitrogen, phosphate and trace minerals in it. It says it's child and pet friendly but I'm wary now due to that fact that if grass has been fertilized your meant to keep guinea pigs off it for a while. Does anyone know if the compost is safe to grow them grass in or do I need to throw it out and start again?
Thank you
