What veggies can I feed my piggy daily/every other day safetly? I want to make sure I'm feeding him healthy and safe foods

Am on my phone so can't link in the thread. Have a look under the guinea pig guides at the top of the page. There is some good info on those.

I feed mine what I have in the fridge. Bell pepper, carrots, kale (not much due to high calcium), spinach (same as kale - high calcium so not much), parsnip, lettuce(not iceberg), blueberries, cucumber, celery (again high calcium,), spring greens, apple cores (pips removed) bit of banana skin.

Introduce new foods gradually so you don't get upset tummies.

Only feed fruit a maximum of twice a week. Otherwise they can develop painful sores round the mouth. Is Chard high in calcium Betsy I can't seem to find the level.

I'm actually really confused as to what swiss chard and chard really is. When I googled it some sites say is silverbeet? We get baby chard over here in salad mixes but it looks nothing like silverbeet. Why can't they call food the same thing in all countries lol.

It would be a lot less confusing! Aubergine is Egg Plant, Coriander is Cilantro, Courgette is Zucchini ...... How did those changes come about? They're not even similar!
