Hello,
I want to make a natural themed cage for my pig's cage. They are currently in a wooden cage and I want to add some greenery. Can anyone give me advice and guidelines as to what's safe?

I was thinking of adding a few peices moss to the sides of the walls, but I want to know if it is safe first. And are fake plants safe to include in their enclosures aswell?
I do plant to include real greenery as well to grow like such as parsley and basil.

Thank you!

I am not sure if i am right as I am no specialist in this area but I think maybe you should introduce these things slowly especially if it's food because it can cause sickness in the stomach of the Guinea's. It sounds like a great idea and you should go for it but I am a bit iffy on fake plants because your pigs might chew on them but I guess that depends on the pig.

Someone correct me if wrong

I personally wouldn't add the fake plants or moss. Though it would look nice I don't think your piggies stomachs would agree. And I actually think moss is poisonous? I don't 100% know for sure but I'm sure I've read on here that moss isn't good for guinea pigs.

Completely agree with @Jesse's pigs statement

No moss at all, don't add any fake plants, piggies eating foreign bodies can cause all manner of blockages etc.....
