Hi

Can anyone tell me when it will be safe to house baby guinea pigs outdoors? (I live in Hove, Sussex UK).

I haven't got my piggies yet as need them to be safe outdoors, but have an ace delux all weather hutch waiting....I used to keep them when I was young but can't remember when we had our babies then...

Also know of where I can get 2 baby sisters? I ideally want to rescue unwanted babies.

Thanks!

NB I am very new to this site so don't have much idea how it works!

Hi I've read somewhere that the temp needs to be constantly over 10 degrees. I got my 2 last Easter which was early & they were outside from day 1. I've kept them indoors since October but I've started to watch the temps .I'll **** let them go in the outside hutch during the day at first & bring them in when its dusk as they will now be used to the central heating although ours is only on from 4-30pm till 10-30pm.They have a snugglesafe heat pad during the night
