I would like to build my 2 guineas a little wooden hidey home and possible some kind of ramp/stairs to enable them to get out of their cage and into their run. Does anyone know which kinds of wood would be suitable for this as they are likely to get chewed. I know that pine shavings are not a good idea but is it ok if it is solid wood?
If anyone has any suggestions of types of wood I can use safely I would be very grateful. Also, if you have made something similar yourself it would be great to see it!
P.S I would be buying the wood from somewhere like B&Q (untreated obviousy) so it needs to be commonly available and not a rare kind of wood. Thanks!
