My lawn is absolutely terrible this year - there has pretty much been no grass since last summer! :{ Anyway, I'm thinking of trying one of those lawn treatments that kills off the moss and encourages the grass growth etc, but am wondering how long it has to be left before it is safe for the piggies.

Thanks for any advice. :)

i guess it would be similar to poisoning weeds we did ours right before we got piggies so unfortnantly mine didnt get grass time for a while,to be on the safe side i would keep them away from it for 2 months or 4 lawn cuts xx

Thanks for this! :) Wow, that's a long time (but does make sense). Although I can't see that I have a lot of choice at the moment, given that there is no grass at the moment anyway!

my guineas have been clearing the lawn of any moss and i havent needed to rake te lawn in years the guys and gals do it for me! and guinea pig poo is doing wonders feeding my lawn! LOL

Hi there - we have our lawn treated by a company that do a treatment 4 times a year and they recommend 2 weeks after the treatment which we did and all was well :)
