Yes - especially the lady who sat at our table not realising we were a group :))
Turns out she and @teddymouse knew each other

It was a paper straw and Doris drank the whole bottle and was nearly left at the pub as she jumped out of my bag twice as she was so drunk hic!:beer::beer:

i was sat on the other side of the table to the table sharing lady & i cant even describe the looks she was giving, they ranged between, shock, horror, intrigue, bemusement, disgust & i'm sorry i know she's free to sit where she likes but i had to laugh at the expression on her face when @Betsy piled up the piggies for their straw drinking bottle emptying trick....seriously she wasn't impressed! lol.

i think all Wetherspoons only do paper straws now?

likewise a lovely afternoon as usual :nod: journey home was horrible i was soaked by the time i got to the car park -my coat was only showerproof.... not downpour proof :eek::yikes:
lots of water about on the road & windscreen wipers on all the way until i got about 10 miles from home.
even had to change my soaked 'n' soggy socks!
hope you had a good journey & time at your gathering afterwards too?:)

the funny thing is, they tend to join in with the fun, and take our group photos for us ,lol.
