The last few days have been very sad.

On Thursday I came home to find Salvatore feeling poorly. He'd been doing so well on his heart meds so it was a shock. He passed away gently on Friday morning laying beside me on the sofa.

Then it became clear that my beautiful girl Ginny had decided that her time had come too. She was over 5 years old and her health was poor already. We spent all day yesterday cuddling and this morning she was helped into her forever sleep.

On Friday, the Sal and Ginny had a last cuddle together. Both seemed to gain a little comfort from the closeness.

Both piggies stayed with me as foster piggies for Jenny at Crawley GPR. Salvatore originally came from Jo at Cheyslemore GPR. Ginny came into rescue last year in an appalling condition. My thanks go to Jenny for letting me love them both.

I am heart broken tonight.

:( i'm so sorry Sharon, huge hugs, it must be awful to lose two of them so close together but I bet they have both found each other at the bridge and are now at peace x

They were gorgeous piggies and the last picture of them together bought tears to my eyes :(

I am so sorry and sad to hear this. How difficult it is for you to have lost not just one loved one but two. I wish I could take away your pain. Please pm me if you ever wish to talk.

I am so sorry that you have lost two of your special piggies so close to each other. It must be an inevitable thought that they may be popcorning together now...

Sharon my thoughts are with you at this very sad time.

They found love and happiness whilst you took care of them, keep happy memories close to your heart.
 
Really sorry to read this, so awful to lose two special piggies so close together. The picture of them together is beautful. No doubt they are snuggling close together at the bridge. Massive hugs to you at such a sad time.

I'm so sorry for your loss Sharon (and Jenny), these little guys were very special piggies and I'm so glad they found their way to you. I can just imagine the mayhem they will be causing at Rainbow Bridge, popcorn free little guys x

They both were such gorgeous piggies ! Hope there running around together over the rainbow bridge...
 
Thank you all for your kind words. I miss them both very much.

My other piggies are very quiet and not really sure about what has happened. We'll be having lots of cuddles over the next few days.
