Hi, just thought while I had a couple of minutes to sneak on here I'd remind all that I have now had Salvatore for 2 years! Got him a few days ago this month in 2011. He nearly died that day and the next, he was so ill and starved when I got him. I wish I could post a picture of him so you could see that he weighs about 1.5 kg! Also, if I completely disappear, here's why - "they" found an aneurysm in my head, and Thursday a neurosurgeon is going to go in there to look at it, see what it needs, and try to fix it. It's in the internal carotid, up there at the base of my skull, and 2 cm long. It's one of those things that could give me a stroke and kill me if I don't get it fixed, and it could give me a stroke and kill me when they go in there to fix it. Rats. But don't worry - I've got somebody in place to take care of and/or rehome Sal if worse comes to worst. I'll let you know if I come out of it OK, and maybe by then I will have found an Internet access that lets me post and view pictures.

Gret news about Sal - I remember him well! You worked wonders considering the awful state he was in. I am glad that he is still going strong after this time.

Of course I will keep my fingers firmly crossed for you tomorrow and hope that you will have many more years to come here to with news from Sal! Please update us if things go well for you. What a nasty diagnosis!

I admire you so much for getting him through his troubles and thinking of your piggy if things go wrong.I am sure you will be fine and giving him cuddles again soon

Congratulations on having Sal for two years. I remember him well ( and Red RIP).

Really sorry to hear of your health problems and fingers firmly crossed for you here. Please let us know how you get on. Hugs and good luck.

Hi Pat.

Will be thinking of you and have everything crossed for a good result. Take care. xx

Hi Pat, I was just thinking of you and your pigs the other day :). Congrats on having Sal for two years! He is very luck to have you. Sorry to hear you have a scary diagnosis. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope the doctors can do the best for you, and give you a great recovery. Good luck, and let us know how everything goes! xx

Hi Pat
So glad to hear that Sal is doing well - you did such a sterling job, he was lucky to be rescued by you. I do hope all goes well with your op. Crossing everything for you. x

Hi Pat, You did a remarkable job with Sal. I really hope the hospital staff can do the same for you too. Good Luck. xx

Hello! Glad to hear Sal is doing so well. You are a miracle worker. He and Red (RIP) have had the gift of new life with you.

Fingers and paws crossed your surgery goes well. Neurosurgeons band and coil aneurysms like this all the time so you'll be in good hands. I hope we see a post from you soon and everything is well. x

Glad Sal is doing well. Will be thinking of you, take care.

Wow! Pat - is it really 2 years? - Am sure all will go well for you on Thursday.
Love from us all xx

Hello Pat. Fingers and all paws crossed here for the operation, we are all hoping to hear from you again soon. Wheeks to Sal from my girls as well - 1.5kg of male piggy! Loud wheeks!
