hello, I'm planning on giving my pigs a christmas bath soon, either today or tomorrow, but I'm unsure on wether i should just use the same bath water for my two pigs, or should i change it between use ?
this is going to be there first bath so I'm a little worried and want to get everything right, any tips would be great, thanks :)

I use use the same water for mine (we have six, so we do it in threes :) )

I run the bath so there about two or three inches of warm water and in they go. I wash and rinse them one at a time, using warm water from the sink to rinse them with a jug.

Good luck - hope they enjoy it :)

If it's their first bath you might find they're a bit blacker than they look so you might find the water turns a mucky colour. Depending on how big they are I find it sometimes find helps to have them in a bowl rather than a sink as they tend to scramble and throw water everywhere and they seem a bit happier in a bowl in my experience.

The last time I bathed my boys I did them both together in the kitchen sink and they both sat together plotting their revenge on me, but I had washed them prior to that so they weren't that mucky.

Make sure you have jugs of clean warm water to rinse them off it makes life so much easier and towels to pop them in and soon as they're out of the water and plenty of treats so they forgive you :p

Oh and don't be surprised if they wee and poo in the water!

My two are getting their bath on Saturday......bless them, they will hate me for it but has to be done, picked them up last night and they are a bit stinky

I bath mine one at a time in the sink and change the water twice for each piggy. I wet her and then apply shampoo. I use the same water to rinse then take her out and put her on a towel on my knee, refill the sink and rinse her off. I hope that makes sense!
