I'm so sad to say Tybalt my rescue boy of 9 weeks has died suddenly overnight without any signs of him being unwell. As people on this forum might know, it took me a while to find him after Saphies sister Pearl died, but they bonded straight away and were really happy. I'm now back looking for a single neutered boar as she doesn't seem to take well to new sows. If anyone knows or hears of one looking for a loving home in the Merseyside or Winsford area please let me know, thanks.
 
If there is a rescue near you it would be ideal, they may even date them.
Poor Saphie. I hope theirs a match out their.
 
Aw, hope you find Sophie a new boyfriend soon, so sorry that you lost Tybalt, such a young piggie x
 
Sorry for the loss of Tybalt. It took a while to find him.

I know it's not ideal but have you tried P@H adoption area for a boar and get him neutered? @Merab's Slave did that when she found her boar Micah and Micah is now playing the waiting game before he is safe to join her 3 sows.
 
So sorry to hear about Tybalt - what a shock for you.
As @Betsy said I recently adopted a baby boar who had been bullied and was labelled as having to live alone.
Heart promptly overruled head and sanity and Micah joined the family.
Following quarantine and neutering he is now living next to the girls so they can get to know each other and provide piggy companionship through the bars until he’s safe.

Hope you can find a suitable companion for Saphie
 
Hi, I've managed to find a neutered boar called Bertie at Tiny Paws in Manchester. Hoping to get over there with Saphie later this week to meet him. Hopefully they will get on as it's a 60 mile round trip 😏. x
 
I've got everything crossed. I'm really hoping they get on, I love a happy ending. X
 
Well first impressions seem really good with Saphie and Bertie. No fur flying or teeth chattering, just a little mounting by Bertie and pee squirting from Saphie 🤣. Both now seem really chilled out and she definitely prefers a man for company. Fingers crossed it continues. x
