Sasha my stunning new skinny!

oooh i'm sure if you explain to OH that it's for the best to get a wee friend for sasha he will agree :) lol
he will cave !
 
Sasha is gorgeous, my skinny sow lives with a hairy girl, when they were first introduced the skinny got a scratch but i kept an eye on them and it wasn't done with any malice so i left them together, they now live happily together and ive had no problems since :)
 
I was so lucky to get such a beautiful pig with such a great character!
 
My OH is not that much of a pushover! I will spend some time getting to know her, at the moment she is in the livingroom so has plenty to keep her busy. I want to choose the right partner for her and take my time doing it.

Exactly the right decision in my view - she will be fine alone for the time being - do not rush into getting a pal just for the sake of it. They are bold little characters and she will be just fine with you/Gary/Abbey etc., for company.

They are both gorgeous. Congratulations x)

My skinny is really warm to hold too which suprised me when I got her. They do show up scratches more easily so it will look worse on a skinny. Mine was covered in scratches when I got her but they soon heal up.....

I am just so charmed by her! When she shakes her head her ears make the most endearing flapping noise!
 
As the day has gone on I have fallen more and more in love with her! Sasha has so much confidence and attitude. As soon as there is a hnt of food the wheeking starts. Nose kisses are also popular as she lifts her wee face up so you can kiss it! I adore all my piggies but I have just never met one with such a unique personality!
 
Usually new pigs are a bit more timid but not my sasha she is the all singing all dancing girl and likes you to know she is here. Not only that but after an exciting exploration of teh couch she went back in her cage a flaked out!
 
Dolly is the same - she's so cute and like you she had me in love from the start. So very very bold and forward.

I also love the ear flapping thing. It's lovely :)
 
Skinnys do seem a bit different personality wise. Sherbet, my skinny, is older than her friend, Ebonys, babies but is lighter in weight and hyper in comparison - she popcorns and runs about like mad.
I have had a parrot bell in the cage for months. None of the hairy piggies have sussed it but she knows when she rings it I come .... with food usually....
Soooo ,.... now I am a skinny pig slave rolleyes but interesting to me that 4 hairy piggies never caught on.....but she did....
 
It is the amount of chatting she does too, it is as if we are having a full conversation. She chats aways and then tilts her head as if awaiting an answer! Climbing seems to be a great joy for her too, she has been scaling the dizzy heights of the couch and siniging about it from the top!
 
I never knew that skinnies could be such pooing machines! None of my other pigs produce even half the amount of poos as Sasha does!

Today she has done loads of exploring, she is so curious and will squeak the place down if you try and stop her from going the way she wants to go!

she sounds like she's settling in nicely :))!
 
lol...... my skinny poos a lot too - much more than the others.....:)) ....but then she eats more too....... but weighs less....I think she burns it all off flapping those ears and running about like a madpiggy. :))
 
Yes I have been pooed on a lot and peed on once so I think I will use a towel for cuddles!
