We thought we would see if the myth that piggies eat oranges is true. So they all got a segment of satsuma last night to try and the results are: dustbin couple aka Sweep and Lulu - definate thumbs up, the detectives aka Holmes and Watson - definate thumbs down, Dillon - not on your nelly and the love triangle aka Fudge, Daisy and Autumn - well one of them ate it but I don't know who. They all said a definate no to courgette, it may look like cucumber but we're not fooled (drat!)

OOh my piggies lovex)x) oranges soooo much, they munch right down to the peel.
I cut them in to thin small pieces about 1/2" and my lottie (aka dyson for the amount she scoffs) runs popcorning around the cage with a piece in her mouth.
I've tried to capture this on video several times but she just seems to know that there's a camera in there.

I've never tried my piggies will oranges as i heard it can give them mouth sores and i didn't want to risk it. Maybe a small amount will be ok?

I always thought piggies were never to be given citrus fruits?

They're fine as an occasional treat. My pig Rosie just loves Clementines.
