Savic source 600ml bottle

Ok seducedby the promise of a non leaking bottle I parted with £9.99 for this bottle. I think I might be doing something wrong but hope you can assist. On filling it up I happened to tilt it slightly and was surprised to see lots of water leaking out of the top lid of the bottle. Also my piggies don't seem to be able to get any water out and worried if I leave it in for them to practice that they my fail to get the knack and get thirsty. Please let me know your opinions and experiences if you have one of these bottles thankyou

haven't seen them sorry.
I would ensure there are two drinking bottles, the new one and old one that way you can be sure.
I read somewhere that your best to give the bottle a shake and get the roller ball to settle properly after its been filled, but I could be wrong.

These bottles dont have a ball they are weird they have a metal spout with a fine pin in it which if nudged releases water. I think they are newish instores.
