Just wanted to say a prayer for all those that lost there lifes in the 11th september twin towers hope u all RIP.

My aunt lives near by and she couldnt believe what she saw shes still having nightmares now :'( :'( :'(

I remember the day so well. joe had started nursery and me and rich were flicking through the tv looking for something to watch and came across it all. We thought it was a disaster movie until we realised we were on a news channel and it was real. I still can't believe it actually happened. My thoughts are with all those affected.

I think its something that effected the world and will never be forgotten. It was a tremondous and horrific event.

My thoughts are with all the friends and families which this alwful event affected.

I remember that day to, i was feeding my son, My husband was at flint house a police convalescent home, and i watched as the second plane hit, i was sobbing!
it just horrifies, My dads friend was suppose to be having breakfast in one of the towers, one has a restaurant on the top floor but forgot some paper work for a meeting and had to go home,, he had just walked into the tower when the first plain struck,

But yes my thoughts are with the families today,

Yes what a horrible day :( Everyone I am sure remembers what they were doing the day that happened. I was at my mums as my aunt and uncle were visiting from Ireland. Horrific images that will stay with us. RIP all those who died and thoughts to the grieving families.

I had just finished watching Neighbours with Emily who was only 8 months old at the time. A news flash came on and said a plane had flew into one of the towers, then from nowhere another plane came within view and smashed into the other tower. I was thinking, what is this? Some kind of sick film? I switched to Sky, CNN, Fox and they were all covering it. I couldn't comprehend it at all! I went from watching Harold Bishop to this absolute nightmare!

When the first tower fell I didn't realise, I thought it was a bomb on the ground. It was only after the dust had settled I realised what had happened. I was so panic stricken, those people in the other tower had to get out and fast! I didn't realise there were innocent people on the planes I thought the hijackers and taken the planes without anyone on board. If I would have known the truth then it would have made it worse for me.

My mother (who I was living with at the time while we house hunted) just went about her daily business, I was glued to the TV it was horrible but like something I've never witnessed before. It deeply affected me for many months. Everytime I saw a plane I'd think back to the towers. Physcholigists say that even people who watched in on TV could have needed counselling. I was probably one of them but I dealt with it in my own way.

I've watched many programmes on the towers, read far too much stuff online about it and probably did become a little obsessed with it, because it was huge. Something like this has never happened in my lifetime. I hope it never does again!
