say hello to my new piggy Keyla

I adpoted a new piggy on Thursday from a rescue. Her name is Keyla.

I had seen her photo a while ago on the rescue's website and it was love at first sight.
However, she was gone before my husband and I could decide anything (we were afraid our current cage set-up might not be big enough and were discussing if we should buy or build a bigger one). Then Keyla became available again and I thought "This must be fate", so I got her!
I have always wanted to have a black and a grey piggy, and she has the shiniest fur ever!

We took some nice photos. Here she is (and I will add some more photos, so you can see my other pigs on the balcony, too).

I got the edible house from a local pet shop. They had them in before Christmas and I wanted to get one then, but they were sold out. Now they suddenly had one again, so I got it!
I would like that, too :))
 
Keyla is utterly gorgeous, Rachel - her fur is so beautifully shiny. But you know I have a huge soft spot for dear Bennie .... such a handsome boy. But of course the girls are darling as well, and Miss Patty certainly knows how to strike a pose!

Thank you! Yes, Patty is the boss and always wants to be in the foreground. But I cannot stay mad at her for anything, she is far too cute to be angry with! :))

This will be very difficult because of the quarantaine... :(
I am still waiting for them to change those rules...
But at least you will now have second thoughts about the pignapping! :))
 
Oh Blimey! how goregous is each and everyone of them! I have a real thing for light coloured piggies but I just love Keyla too - you lucky devil! x

She has become very affectionate, too, and loves cuddles.
 
Thank you! Unfortunately, it has been cold outside the last 3 days so they good not play outside. It is supposed to get warmer again at the weekend though.
