Saying goodbye tomorrow

We have exhausted ourselves trying to help our strong boy Toffee, but as days go on he's only getting worse, one of his eyes are completley closed and stuck with gunk, he is refusing to eat his mushed up pellets, he is barley drinking anything at all, his lump is bigger than him, and he is even refusing to eat his favourite veggies. He is struggling to breath, I'd rather get him to the vets tonight but they're closed until tomorrow. Although I have a horrible feeling he won't be here when I wake up in the morning.... Keeping him as comfortable as possible for now... Can't believe I'm saying goodbye... It's been an amazing 5 years, my life wouldn't have been the same without him! 8...

Thanks everyone, we have taken care and consideration into making this decision, he has fought for so long now and we think it's time to stop the suffering, we physically can't watch him go on like this any longer.

We had to do the same with Sunshine the end of January, she had a huge lump as well, in the end as she was so weak i just spent the night awake and cuddling her, until i couldnt bear it any more and made a dash to the emergency vets at 5.30am. When the decision came she looked at me and seemed to say goodbye and gave me a kiss.
