We had to say goodbye to our boy Teddy last night. He had stopped eating and we tried everything to get him well. He was suffering so last night the vet put him to sleep. It turns out he had an abscess right at the back of his mouth and a huge lump restricting his throat. It was for the best and I am pleased he is no longer suffering. Here is our boy when he was well

On a lighter note we got a new baby for his friend Dougal, we were worried sick because he and Dougie were so close. But he hasn't bothered! Typical boy. Our new boy is called Ringo, he's 16 weeks old and I will post some photos very soon. He was taken to a vet to be PTS because he had ringworm! (hence his name) and he is very small for his age. I instantly fell in love with him. He's a real cheeky chap and I just know we are going to have great fun with him. He has really helped ease my grief, I will always miss my Teddy, so don't get me wrong. But I'm sure you all understand my meaning Xx

So sorry for your loss, sleep well little one!

Do make sure to quarantine Dougal, before introducing him to your remaining piggy!

I'm so sorry, sweet dreams Teddy.

You made the right decision, we had to make the same one yesterday for a pig we were looking after for a client from guinea pig clinic. It's so hard.

The wee baby was living alone in a vets for 6 weeks, so has a clean bill of health. Good to be pointed out though Xx Thanks for the kind words x)

Really sorry for the loss of your beauitful boy *huge hugs*

RIP Teddy
