Okay, if it doesn't get better I will take her to the vet. Is there anything I can do for her? And is she in any pain?I would keep it under observation and if necessary seen by a vet. It could be caused by a fungal problem.
Okay, I will try to find a vet here. We are visiting family members in a different state right now so I don't know which vet would be the best. I will monitor her and if it doesn't get better I will ask around to find out which vet would be the best. Thank you for your help!I wouldn't think that she is in any pain.
You could consider getting a mild fungal shampoo like malaseb or nizoral; always wash the ears just with the suds. If it is rather hot and humid where you are, I would not recommend that you use any anti-fungal creams.
However, you need to be aware that whenever you treat on spec for fungal, it can make a proper vet diagnosis impossible. At this stage, it is very difficult to say what it is.![]()
