Scabby bum

I have an 11 week old guinea pig and I noticed today that she seems to have scabs/dry skin on her bum. I haven’t seen her itch it and I’ve been watching her closely to see if she’s still acting normal. She still drinks and eats and it doesn’t seem to hurt her when I move the fur back to look at it, the fur isn’t falling out either and the skin isn’t flaky it just feels like hard scabby lumps. I’ve put a photo below does anyone have any idea what it could be?

I would suggest a vet visit as soon as possible.
It could be any number of things but only a vet can diagnose properly .
Whenever you have a health concern with a piggy it is always a good idea to take them to a vet.
It’s better to be reassured that nothing is wrong than risk missing something.

I’ve been online and requested a vet consultation for tomorrow as it’s quite late, I’m hoping they get back to ASAP in the morning. I will keep you updated :)

Yeah we got an appointment and we just got back not long ago, she’s got ringworm so she’s on medication for the next two weeks to see if it helps it just got to watch the other two pigs:)

@PigglePuggle has dealt with ringworm as have others.
I am sure you will get lots of advice and support.
Watch yourself too, it can be contagious
 
Does anyone also know any good shampoo to wash the piggies with after the treatment?
 
Nizoral shampoo is a good one to use as it is antifungal. Or any other antifungal shampoo would work. Possibly T-gel, but Nizoral is more widely used by people.
