Please have them checked by a good vet for ringworm. It is very common in shop piggies. You can claim back any vet cost from the shop, as the infection has clearly happened before the sale if you come with a vet bill and your purchase receipt.

Please be very careful with handling and disinfection in view of having a multi-species household. Here are our tips: Ringworm: Hygiene And Pictures

Could you please add your country, state/province or UK country to your details, so we can adjust any advice to what is available and possible where you are. We have got members from all over the world, so things can differ quite a bit in terms of medical brands, vet access etc. click on your username on the top, then go to personal details and scroll down to location. Thank you!

other countries: Veterinarians - The GLX-Files (with permission of Guinea Lynx)

So could he possibly have ring worm? It just looks like dry skin an would pets at home pay the cost of the treatment and how much do you think it will cost an what would they do thank you

It looks very much like fungal.

What you get prescribed depends on the vet; it also depends on the surgery how high consultation fees are. If you struggle to pay fees upfront, you can look for basic care chains like vet4pets etc. You can always ring a clinic first and ask for their fees. Pets'home will reimburse you for the vet and treatment cost, so you will get the money back.

Here is more information on the medication that we recommend as the most effective, but mild treatment that is suitable for piggies of all ages: Ringworm: Hygiene And Pictures

If you please added your location (see how to in my first post), we may be able to give you more local recommendations.

Can u tell me how to add my location please and yes there's a vets for pets in Castelford near to me, I will get my mum to ring them up, we payed a lot of money to pets at home for a new hutch an for the two piggys it's such a shame he's poorly, it's not life threatening is it?

Thanks for all your help

If you got them from Pets at home most stores these days have a vet in store. Take them there and explain to them that you suspect ringworm and tell them you bought it from them. They should help you with costs because its happened in store.
It can only be life threatening if it gets worse and worse. The vet should give you some Itrafungol (spelling?) and a little feeding syringe so you can give it to them orally over the course of 2 weeks. c:
