Just as Posset is recovering from her bout of ringworm in time for Christmas snuggles, I have noticed that Toggle has some scabbiness appearing on her nose/lips. It's not a huge amount, but it's enough to concern. I decided not to separate Toggle from Posset as they were still so young and as I suspect Posset contracted ringworm from the shop, there wasevery chane Toggle had too, but with a delay in symptoms (so I didn't want to risk her infecting Poglet and Syllabub).

It's not huge, and I tried wiping it off, in caase it was muck, but it's quite firmly stuck on. Could it be cheilitis? Or is it possible that she's caught ringworm from Posset? Is there anything I should do in between now and the inevitable vet's visit?

Any opinions or advice would be appreciated, thank you.

That looks more like Chelitis to me too, but Chelitis can be caused by fungal (though not always). When my Nigel had it it was fungal and we treated with Nystatin from the vets. You are right to get her checked for Ringworm though.

@gizzy @helen105281 Thanks for your responses. I thought it was cheilitis myself, although wasn't sure if it was caused by the ringworm or was just a coincidence.

We've booked her in for a vet's appointment tomorrow. However, when I got her out for a check today it appears to have got better? It's not cleared up completely, it still looks crusty, as opposed to scabby now. Just odd. We have been washing her in imaverol due to the ringworm outbreak, so I don't know if that will have had any effect?

Anyway, here is an image of Toggle today.
