Hi everyone! I haven't been on the forum for a long while, and everything has been good, up until now.
I have no idea how I haven't noticed it yet but Rusty has a really really painful looking scab on her lipomas lump on her rear. The way I know it is lipomas is because the owners who had her before me got it checked out and the vet diagnosed it.
Should I be worried? She I take her to a vet? It looks really painful. I have no idea how she got it. She might have scratched it on the hay rack but I highly doubt it. I don't think Lillith did it to her either.
Everything else with her is fine, eye, nose, I listened in on her breathing and shes breathing fine. If it will help I can take a picture of it. Thanks in advance :) xx

I would defo take her to the vet. It is always best to get these things checked up.

Thanks guys! Sorry I haven't been able to get on, I have exams in like 2 weeks so everything is so hectic. I had to go to school today(a sunday) from 8am-5pm for a dance practice {:|
but I was able to leave early so I came home at 2.
I was able to take Rusty to the vet today and the vet basically drained her lump of all this white pus that had started to come out. The lump looked horrible today, it was scabby, bloody, white and black.
Apparently, It might not be lipomas, it might be cancerous. The reason he told me this was because there was bleeding going on and something else I can't remember. But, it could be lipomas because its on the outside of the skin, it was able to drain and because she's had it for so long and she's perfect aside from that(eating, drinking, pooing, peeing, ect.)
He drained a lot out of it, so much that she could possibly be a pound smaller.
The only crappy part is he can't be 100% sure what it is until we get it removed and sent out. He is going to call me and tell me roughly how much it would be to get it removed.
He sent me home with antibiotic meds for her and I just gave her one and I have to give her one for 12 days.
When we came home she started popcorning all over the cage, she was so happy :)) :)) It was so cute!
I will keep you guys updated!

I really hope it is nothing serious. How cute Rusty was so happy to be home.
