bugsy

I have just been out to clean my pigs and found that the youngest one has some scabs on his skin, one is quite big behind his ear, the others are very small. I first thought the it may be the older one bullying him.

I lost one pig and this is the replacement one, so was wondering if the oldest one may be dominating the younger one, i have noticed him head butt him when he is at the food bowl.

Any advice.

I cant see any bite makes, they look more like scabs, I have checked him over and cant see any fleas or anything, I'm just really worried couldnt stand to lose another one. I got him from a friend who has loads of pigs but had to many males, so i no he comes from strong parents and was looked after

Go to the vets and have him checked for mites or fungus - they are quite frequent in new piggies!
