I use luggage scales hun. Its easier to put them in a carrier and weigh them in that. Well it is for bunnies anyway 
but I also do it the that way for the pigs.

I use a Cuisinier set I bought off eBay, there's one on there now - they don't crop up very often, not easy to find:

I prefer digital scales simply because it's easier to be told what the pigs weigh, than trying to count it out myself!

Thanks to both of you - what good value both these options are. I don't need to spend a fortune on fancy vet scales then.
