My poor babies are absolutely terrified of the fireworks that are right across the road. I'm playing them calming music and giving them lots of cuddles and they're settling but still getting a bit shaky everytime there's a really loud one

Poor little things. Luckily we haven’t had too many where we are. Hope the fireworks finish soon.

Could you bring them into another room or put a blanket over their cage until the fireworks are over? Fortunately mine live in the front room near the road and most of the fireworks are round the back in the gardens... but a big fleecy blanket cave over the cage might help...

They are so loud around here this year it's a nightmare! Last night we had to deal with a hedgehog in the garden who we wondered whether he was ill but he's trundled off overnight so likely it's the fireworks. Tonight the pigs didn't wheek for their dinner and daisy was the last one out which is highly unusual. Can't wait for this to be over but then Diwali is celebrated quite largely here so there will be no rest for a few weeks
