Last night I went to feed my two piggies, and when I opened the hutch door Izzy jumped up, as expected, but Suzy just lay there. I thought she was dead at first, but I picked her up and she was fine. I checked her all over and she seems ok.

Surely they don't go into such a deep sleep that opening the hutch door wouldn't have woken her? Does anyone have any ideas? She gave me a real fright!

Twinkle is always doing that to me. Perhaps Suzy was sleeping it can happen. As long as she is eating and drinking I wouldn't worry. :)

My Lenny does this all the time. I can bang on the floor or tap the cage and he wont move, I always get a really big frieght and he only mves once i touch him. xx

That's alright then, I was really scared! Never had a piggie sleep so deep before!

She's absolutely tiny. Not sure if she's the runt of her litter, or, as I suspect, very young. She's doing fine though and Izzy's looking after her!

Francis and Sage are experts at this!
Franis has catarrachs and you can't tell when he's lying thier what he's doing!
Then Sage moved in and he's copying! scares the heebees out of me and i have to go right up to them and poke them to make sure!

All of mine but mainly Buttons love doing it to me ;D Sometimes he doesn't even look like he is breathing until you look closely then you say his name and he jumps up and gives you an evil look :D

just keep an eye on her, as loing as shes eating frinking and moving around most of the time, she'll be fine O0

my best friends piggie always does that to her. usually the piggie pretends to be dead and when my friend screams the piggie will jump up. :D it really quite cute...my piggie has done that many a times.... there's nothing to be worried unless she can't get up.... :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: ;D ;D :D :D ;) :) :)
