anyone else pigs scared of the hoover R+H really seem to hate it gizmo has tried to eat it on more than one occasion!
 
my guinea pigs squeek really loud and run around and around and around and popcorn and jump and get excited

I think mine like it for some reason its wierd - they wheek at the top of their lungs and over the hoover i can hear them LOUD:(|)
 
Buzz and Woody are indifferent to the point of complete nonchalence; Branston & Pickle think it is the devil. Quite literally - they run and try and bury themselves, head-first, in the shavings, in the furthest corner of the c&c.

Or bomb into the log hut and sit on top of each other and chatter their teeth at the vac.

Hate it.

And mine! I think they're shouting "STOP EATING MY HAY" at the hoover! :))
 
My lot are the opposite and love the noise of the hoover. they always start popcorning when I hoover in their room!
 
Mine hates the hoover! Whenever it goes on, the teeth chattering starts and she races into her hidey. Even when it stops I have to bribe her with veg to get her out!
 
mine are so terrified of it that its a good excuse to reduce the number of times a week that i vacuum..... :))
 
Mine either hide or start to popcorn when I vacuum. But once, my Nibble's (RIP) attacked the vacuum! Her cage-mate Josephine was terrified of the vacuum, so Nibbles was defending her against it! :))
 
Merry & Suilven hate it. We got a new hoover which is more powerful than our last one. We hoovered for the first time with it then let the boys out for floor time... they noshed through the hose - not impressed. I think they thought if we did that we'd stop hoovering!
 
My lot never really bother (hate the phone ringing or the door knocking :{) but noticed they all started wheeking like crazy recently ?/ Turns out when I'm at work and my OH is home, he hoovers as soon as he's done the hay and cleaning out before he does their pellets and veggies so they now associate the hoover with food rolleyes :))
They also grumble if anyone has hiccups - does anyone elses piggies do this ?
 
The girls hear the vacuum cause the return duct is under the house near them........ they don't even bother with it BUT if you vacuum downstairs they tend to hide and then go .......oh yeah it's that silly noisy thing :(|)
