Scared

Good day. I have my guinea for almost 6 months. But recently I noticed that he is super scared and would run around in his cage super scared. Could it be the rabbit next to him that scares him because my boyfriend got a rabbit recently and its cage is next to my guinea pugs cage. He will also get a big fright when I touch him

It does sound like the rabbit may be scaring your piggy, do both animals have a friend of the same species to live with? And enough space?
There are many good reasons not to keep rabbits too close to guinea pigs, not least because there are some serious infectious diseases that rabbits can pass to guinea pigs. Unfortunately many people still mistakenly believe that rabbits and guinea pigs can provide companionship for each other but sadly this just isnt true- no more true than assuming a dog and cat, or a human and a baboon, could automatically be friends!
Please make sure both animals have a same species friend and enough space, and try to move their enclosures further apart- at least opposite sides of the room if you cannot give them different rooms.

No they are both alone. My guinea pigs partner died a month ago. Ok i'll make sure to move them apart and look for companionship for each one. Thank you very much
