How do you get the babies to not be frightened by you? I hear handeling them while they are young will help them bond with you and be calmer pets. But it seems I’m defeating the purpose when I’m chasing them around the cage so I can hold them.
They are a week and an half old...somewhere around that. And after 2 minutes of being held they start weeking really loud for mom.

They are adorable and you must be dying to get them happy to be picked up. They are babies, and all they want to do is run around having fun and getting a drink from mum. Rest assured if you handle them lots, give them treats (I use their nuggets or veg) and spend lots of time around them they will get used to you. You could try picking them in a hidey as they are so fast. It is less of stress for them than being chased around. Remember though, some piggies NEVER like to be picked up, but I'm sure some of them will be ok with it as time passes.
