Scary cuddle sack accident

Hi guys,
So tonight I was checking on my girls when I noticed Sweet Pea fast asleep on top of an XL cuddle sack. She was stretched out completely covering the opening. I realised I couldn’t find Crumble and then I figured she was in the cuddle cup. I picked up the cuddle cup and she was at the back, looking lay lethargic and hot. Her chest was also barely moving. I picked her up and gave her 3 rescue breaths until she started to resist me. I layed her next to me and she came around and stood up. I can only figure that Sweet Pea blocked the opening of the cuddle cup and Crumble couldn’t get proper air and was overheating.
I have her on a cool mat and am taking her to the emergency vets now 😥

All the best! What a scary experience!

I would recommend to use only hideys and cosies with two exits in the future in the cage.

Hi everyone, Crumble is 100% better today. I had her checked over last night and everything seems good. The vet says I was super lucky I found her when I did as lack of oxygen could have caused brain damage. She is showing no neurological issues and is eating fine. (She ate hay less than an hour later). Lots of treats and cuddles today :hug:
