This morning started like they all do, Mummy Slave coming into the garage, giving Meg her medicine, Patsy her medicine and her foot treatment while I get nothing! Nothing life is so unfair! Why don't I get given yummy medicine? Anyway back to today. Mummy Slave then put us in the run and gave us our breakfast pellets. Then there were scary noises from above! The three of us ran away in the corner of the run behind the hay tray were we felt safe! Were we going to get eaten? Surely not Mummy Slave has promised we will always be looked after and loved. Mummy Slave came back in the garage to give us our second breakfast of yummy forage but we were so scared we didn't want to eat it incase the scary noises came to eat us! Patsy was brave enough to venture out of our safe corner to eat the forage and Meg very nervously went too but I wasn't budging from my safe corner behind the hay tray.

Mummy Slave knew we were scared and put us back in our hutch where we felt much safer as we had a roof over our heads and then we knew that nothing could come from above and eat us. We then tucked into the forage. We love our forage it just tastes so good. While all the nasty noises were going on we knew we were safe in our hutch. Mummy Slave told us there was nothing to be frightened of as it was only Roofers putting a new roof on the garage as the old one was leaking when it rained. We aren't sure we believe her though as there were scraping noises, ripping noises and blow torch noises. Mummy Slave did say she was very sorry that we were so scared but there was no where else we could go as Daddy Slave wouldn't like it if we went inside on the new carpet.

The noises have stopped above us now but I can still hear them on the Dining Room roof. I think it's best if the three of us have a duvet day today.

I think that snuggling into a lovely pile of hay is the best thing to do until the noisy roofers are gone, ladies. And demand extra herby treats as compensation.

Aww Betsy that does sound like you have had a bit of a scary morning! Enjoy your duvet day, have a lovely snuggle with Meg and Patsy!

Aww Betsy, you're right, life can be unfair!

Hope everything has settled down for all of you lovely ladies. I agree with the above, snuggling and hay piles are always the answer! 💗

Oh Betsy, how horrible that your day has been spoilt by those scary noises. I hope there have been treats from your hooman to help you recover😃

Poor girls. You are right Betsy. The best thing to do when there’s scary noises is have a duvet day. ❤

Oh Betsy, don’t believe every word your slave says. Last time they said you’d get forage and yet there was none! Otherwise I hope you enjoyed your duvet day and the forage. I’ve got my paws crossed that you’ll get a treat for being so brave.

Your friend from another slave,
Chanel

Oh Betsy ! how can your slave not give you a penthouse and holiday in scary times.i would rebel and have a duvet day, should shout Slave where is my forage, grass every so often,to ensure slaves know there duties....not arrange appointments for men to make scary noises ,without consulting with us,Patsy, meg we need to go on strike, wheres our food now Slave !

Thank you for all your kind words of support. The nasty noises have stopped now. We have enjoyed our duvet day but most of the hay we had to snuggle up in has disappeared! Don't know where that went!:whistle:Mummy Slave has told us we can have another duvet day tomorrow as the nasty noises are going to come back!:yikes: but not for as long as today. Saturday is going to be yet another day in the hutch (just as well we like it in our Penthouse Suite) as Mummy Slave and Daddy Slave are taking Son no 3 Slave back to Uniservity or something like that. Mummy did spoil us this morning by putting some peaflakes in with our forage.
