Oh Glynis you have no idea.
She thinks she is miss perfect and wants her cage just right.
I am also going to share you her schedule. (I honestly didn't make it up. She helped)
I clean her cage once every two weeks because of one thing. That is how she keeps it neat. She has a little poop corner where she does her little turds. If she lets one go without warning she will literally leave it for a bit, then go and pick it up and place it on the pile. I am so amazed on what she does. (I used to clean the cage once a week but once she started doing that I had to change it) That occurs every second sunday
She gets a weekly grooming which includes brushing and nail clipping because of her hair, I started that one. It occurs every wednsday
She gets a full bowl of food every 8 days (She will eat it for 8 days and if you try and change it 4 days early she will try and nip you)
She gets some apple every two days, freeze dried strawberries once a week (around the grooming period)
Water is changed every 4 days (its filtered before its changed as she wont drink tap water). She has a second water bottle for vitamin C drops thats changed every 4 days as well.
She also gets hay every 5 days at 10am so she doesn't annoy me by banging that hayrack on the cage at 3am
She likes quiet time at 11pm so blanket goes over her cage and she sleeps until 6am
Snuggle time last 3-6 hours pending on the day (unless shes in heat). But she gets them everyday at the same time (Even though she hates being picked up)
She has helped me with housework. Vacuuming takes place every two days. She will literally tell you its time to vacuum by kicking shavings out and dumping hay onto the floor (pushing it out of the cage)
