I requested a sample of Science selective guinea pig food a few weeks ago but they emailed me back and said they didn't have any samples at the moment but they would send me one when they had. Just received it now and it's a 350g bag and you get a little book called 'Guide to small Animals' too. So well worth getting a free sample if anybody wants to try it.:)

i got lots of free sample bags at home which my piggise just didnt want to eat, they are just sitting there now - such a waste!

why are my piggies so fussy!

i mixed my samples with their other food, must admit the science selective is the last to be eaten :-(

Mine like the excel piggy food but i have just changed the rabbits onto Science Selective as Excel have changed their pellets and they have gone really small.
the rabbits still eat them but science selective are a bit more substantial which i think is best for them to get their teeth working... Excel at the moment is like feeding them mush...:(
The piggies are not massively keen on SS piggy food though... SO now i have to order in a 10kg bag of SS for the rabbits and picky the piggy food up from the pet shop rolleyes The things we do for them...

Mine do actually like this ... certainly against the Wagg Premium nuggets (or something like that). SS is expensive ... I just paid £6.99 for a 2 kg bag! rolleyes

I discontinued using Gerty Guinea Pig because of the expense, wastage by their selective feeding and negative reviews, changed to ordinary Wagg, now I have introduced Cavy Cuisine and Cavy Performance also.

But it is the SS purple bag that they seem to like.

I buy mine from Companion Care Vets they only charge £5.29 a bag.
My Piggies all love Science Selective, they have tried Excel but weren't keen.
