Hello.
So, my lovely little pigges decided that gerty pig food wasnt good enough for them and started being really picky with it so we are trying them with pellets.
We put them on Supa guinea excel about a week ago but they don't seem to like them much. They dig deep into the dish to get to the bit of gerty they do like.
I've been looking around at the stickies and lots of you are saying science selective is really good and best of all the piggies love it.
I also noticed that many of you are saying that you would like to try SS but can not find it. So Lelli got on google and found some sites and prices.

Here the list I have so far: (I'm only on the first page)

Guinea pig science selective

I posted all of them because I'm not sure on the postage cost ect.
If I find any cheaper sites or shops I will also post them here.

Hope that helped and I hope Gui and Sebby will like these

I feed mine Burgess Excel when I changed them over I did it slowly then cut out the mix. However now I feed them mostly excell then ever other day I put in a little wagg crunch to spice things up so its not boring LOL. I also put in the burgess blackcurrant and oregano pellets all mine gobble the lot up and eat the pellets first.
I would keep going with the pellets and do not give them a choice pellets are great no waste.

I would just like to urge everyone to find out where your local rescue is and see if they sell the things you need. Most rescues do and are usually cheaper than the shops and you will be helping them at the same time. I personally feel we should all be trying them first before other shops

pamperpiggies did the small 350gm bags for 50p a while back so I bought like 10! it worked out cheaper than bigger bags :))

Also if you go on the science selective website they show the stockists. I have one near me that was on the website that stocked the companies products but not the guinea pig food. They were happy to order it in for me with their normal delivery as it didn't cost them anything to do it!

I buy from www.thehayexperts.co.uk - it is currently £22.99 for £10kg with postage at £4.49 (I think).

I usually buy other things as well and/or two bags of SS so that brings down the cost. Cheapest site that I know and has quick delivery too.

Wow, thanks guys for all the other links.

Our pig will not touch the supa pellets so I'm going to take them to the rspca i think. No use me keeping it if they wont eat it.
