Junior Guinea Pig
The vets at P@H are called vets 4 pets. - in case you want to Google ...My vet practice only has a nurse in tomorrow. I will ring around in the morning...we have two Pets at Home nearby. Don't know how it's happened...looks too bad for for a hay scratch, one of her sisters may have scratched her but they don't usually fight :-(
Thanks for advice. I phoned Pets@Home and they booked me in tomorrow but advised going to out of hours service through my own vet...which I did in the end earlier this evening...luckily the eye isn't perforated, have antibiotic drops and she had a pain-killer injection (which she really didn't like!). A costly business but peace of mind that she is ok and pain free. She is happily munching hay now (vet thinks the scratch was caused by hay...she does like to burrow in it). It's been a long night!
