Scratching the same spot

Hi! I noticed about a week ago that my guinea pig was continually scratching the same spot on his body. I put light pressure and there was no sign or pain or discomfort. He is still plenty active and eating right. Should I be concerned? Thank you in advance for any responses.

Hey, if the skin is fine no signs of redness, abrasions or dandruff then they are most likely just scratching.
If there are any signs of anything in skin then this would warrant further investigation
 
Welcome. I agree with what’s been said above. Does your piggy have a friend or lives alone?
