Two of the girls have been a bit more scratchy than usual. I have been keeping an eye on them and my abysinian girls Rose and Posey Rocket seem to have a few scabs. I am not sure if they are itchy because of their coats and they need a trim or if they have something wrong. I am thinking fungal or mites. Vets booked for tonight and all three are going.

Hope its nothing to worry about, get the vet to check their toenails too in case they are just scratching at a summer fur moult with scratchy toes! But definitely good to check for mites and fungal :)

New piggy problems: URI - ringworm - skin parasites

Had the girls checked by the vet. No evidence of ring worm on any of them and no live or mites. Posey Rocket has a scab on her tummy which she thinks might bee infected and Rose has a sore on her side that looks a bit red. They both have medication to be applied to the sore areas. Rosie has nothing wrong with her and celebrated with a huge wee in the scales! :))
Posey Rockets scab looks loads better already while Rose still looks a bit sore. Keeping a close eye on them!
