*Screams* I got my guinea pig!

it wont be good for her to be getting constantly pregnant. and when she is close to birth you will have to remove him anyway because he can hurt the babies. its really best you get him neutered or keep them separate i'm afraid. although babies sound cute you will have to find them homes and theres are a lot of unwanted piggies in shelters everywhere that could do with a loving home. its not always good to breed. especially when you are inexperienced. and yes the girl one will get very very very big. and if she's too young it's not good for her to be pregnant. believe me if you leave him uneutered you will go through cycle after cycle of piggies being born again and again as he will always want to mate her.

i'm sorry if i sound a bit harsh i just think you ought to have had a lot more experience with guinea pigs before breeding them and i have the wellbeing of your girl guinea pig at heart. even if YOU dont mind having lots of babies your girl guinea pig certainly will and i'm sure you will start minding when you cant find homes for them all!

Nevermind. It's nice to know more :D Oh yeah about feeding them. Do I leave the food dish in the cage the whole day?I feed them these...

Both from living world. Currently feeding two table spoons of the mix and 1 and 1/2 hay cubesdrool
 
Guineas like to graze (which is just a nice way of saying they are piggies by name and piggies by nature and like to be able to get to food 24 hours a day!) so leaving the bowl in all day is fine. They will eat when they want to. Just keep an eye on how much they eat though. They don't need too much in their bowl (as they may soil in it and then not eat it) but you also don't want them to run out of food.

Please look around the forum and get to know loads of info about guinea pigs. Please do not breed them :-(

Just to let you know you arent allowed to post the age of a member that young, no harshness intended i agree fully with you and have not said anything in this thread for good reason :x
 
I'm 13 and I won't breed them. I'm a responsible kid who has cared for hamsters and guppies by myself so don't worry. Um King Boris you mean I can't post because I'm under a certain age?
 
They need plenty of hay,Have you got a cage that is big enough to seperate them as they need plenty of space.
 
Update on my piggies. Coudln't go to the vet today, it's closed and I feel like an idiotmalletheadmallethead Anyways I think they are accepting me! They don't run when they saw my hand (I was changing the water) but still jerk and little bit when I suddenly hit kicked the cage:)) Must be the carrot I "bribed" them with:(|)
