I suspect that my girl is in season/heat. My boy is neutered however he is still trying to chase her and get on top of her. I think they are both getting distressed by this. I have taken my boy out to have a cuddle with me in order to give them both some space and time alone. Can anyone offer any advice on what to do in this situation? Thanks

It’s normal to chase and squeal. The squeals are likely submission and not getting fed up, so to speak. And chasing can be dominance behaviour as well. If she is in season she may be ready to...mate. Please put your boy back in and leave them to it.

Yes I agree completely, a neutered boar will still enjoy mating with his ladyfriend when she is in season, and she will enjoy it too- and if she doesnt like it or feel in the mood she will spray pee in his eyes and run away squeaking "catch me later" which is also a perfectly natural behaviour that neutered boars or any boars of any species for that matter sometimes have to deal with!
