[Piggy foster mum]

How long is a guinea pig season and how often do they have them. Our female who was bonded with a neutered male about 2 months ago has tonight suddenly gone crazy with the rumble strutting. Our male who is usually not that interested in her rumble strutting is very interested tonight and has been sniffing her a lot. She’s been mounting him which I’ve not seen before. Poor Harry is really not sure what to do.

Definitely sounds like she is in season! they come into season roughly every two weeks but the actual season itself doesn’t last long. Some pass by without much change, but others cause them to become a bit crazy! The link below should help
