Hello, I have been AWOL for the last week, mostly because I have been having internet issues, but they should be fixed today (yay!). Anyway, I was holding Roger last night, and i felt on his grease gland (which has always been more active than the other two), and it felt like there was a lump below it. It felt pretty hard and pliable; it didnt seem to bother him when I touched it, but obviously i didn't want to do too much to it. So my question is, does this sound like a cyst or an abcess, and is it serious enough for me to take him to the vet right away? I mean, his other behavior is normal, and it doesn't seem to bother him. I am pretty broke for the next week or so, so if it could wait to be checked out that would be ideal, but obviously I would make it happen if it couldn't wait.

I would not say it is urgent but it does need looking at as only a vet will eb able to tell if it is a cyst or abcess. Glad it is not bothering him though.
