OK, you can all be prepared to hate me, as I've started even earlier than last year. The reason is because we are expanding yet again this year, with 30+ rescues already on board, including a massive expansion in Australia and the introduction of Canada onto the books. It's still a 1 person mission so I'm trying to get my work done in as organised a fashion as I can. I also suffered the death of my laptop shortly after the season was over, so I'm esssentially having to start from scratch. I am doing country based sign ups, so that I am less likely to get confused with the mass of Santas sending in their applications. Last year I responded to over 100 messages in 1 night and my fingers nearly fell off.

I would like to post here the information I've just shared onto there, as our TGPF Santas are just as valued as the Facebook ones - after all, this is where it all started and I want you all to be involved!
OK, here is the information you need for Santa sign-ups: please read and give me an 'Understood' or something similar in the comments to make a girl happy
* An average Santa present is shoebox - sized, perhaps slightly larger. You can fill a shoebox with nice little gifts for around £10GBP/$15USD/$20AUD/$19CAD . You DO NOT have to spend a fortune, but if you want to send a little bit more, you can. It's your present, after all.
* When you sign up, I will need to know whereabouts in the world you are (I know I am doing country based signups, but it's still nice to plot out where our Santas are) and how many presents you would like to send.
* PLEASE, if you have previously been a Secret Santa, tell me which rescue you were partnered with last year. I would like to spread the love as much as possible so try to match with different rescues. I have no access to my data from last year short of going through over 170 messages.
* 1 present will go to either a single or pair of piggies. So, for example, if you say you'd like to send 2 presents, you could get 2 singles, a single and a pair or 2 pairs of piggies. Piggies are happy to share as are the rescues who get them. Please think about this before you say you'd like to send 5 presents! There is the occasional trio or a very rare quad that comes in, so if we can't get you 2 separate sets of piggies, you may be given the option to combine your gifts for a lucky group.
* If your country isn't there, it simply means we do not have a rescue on board in your country. There is nothing to stop you signing up to send a present internationally (you can often order nice things of that country's Amazon page and ship them direct!), just please send a message during your chosen country's sign up time and I'll hook you up!
