Sedating Guinea Pigs question..

I'm only really worried about this part of Liquorice's op tomo, She's otherwise healthy apart from the abscess, but how high is the mortality risk in piggies under sedation?:...
 
Poor Humbug has been shouting for her tonight :(She's her best pal (Liquorice), they look so lost her and Treacle.. and the cage looks so big without them8... Currently they're both sat on the fleece behind me in the 'computer room', Humbug dominating Treacle rolleyes between escaping into the front room to torment Biscuit..
 
I worried myself into a frenzy when my boys were in to be neutered and our vet must have thought I was a bit of a mallethead but I had total confidence in them. Finding a good vet is the key I think and their success rates :)
They were only under for approx. 15 mins so knowing that helped me cope with it but totally understand your concerns.
Sending Liquorice lots of hugs for tomorrow and keep us posted :)p

She's home now, straight into the food bowl :)) Put probiotics in the bottle to help aid the batril she's been put on.. had a piece of broccoli (her fav) and some spinach :)
Got to flush wound out with diluted hibiscrub 2-3 times a day.. Vet showed me the wound, and squeezed it.. gunk squirted across the table missing me by millimetres :))

Thanks for the update am glad she's home. I hope she recovers well :)
