My little older piggie Penny who we think may be about 6/7 is ever so slowly losing weight. She was very ill nearly a year ago with a parasite that damaged her nervous system, so shes not so great at getting around and her movements are a bit all over the place but she has her little area of the pad with everything she needs to 'paw' :D. She was a bit of a chubster before she got ill and ended up losing quite alot. She manage to get back up in the 900gs once she started eating normally again but is now very slowly losing, in the last 2 months shes lost 30g. I know its not alot but i know people have said that older guinea pigs sometimes struggle to maintain their weight and wondered if anyone had any tips for feeding any kind of 'booster' if you know what i mean  to keep her weight up?
Ive tried her with porridge oats with a dash of water but she wasnt very interested at all, although all the other pigs had their nose pushed up against the bars wanting some :D hehe
TIA

I had the same reaction when trying to keep up the weight of my girl Sookie who had a lot of health problems. She wouldn't touch oats but her two fat friends couldn't get enough of them.
I found a mix she really liked. I got some soft fruit blended it with a bit of water, mixed in some recovery food then added a handful of oats. She really enjoyed that. I think sweet corn is a good fattening veg as well.
Hope this helps and I hope Pennys weight improves.
